Required Education and Experience:

A person with a few special skills and little or no previous training or work experience. A minimum amount of training is
necessary to prepare the employee for work. The employee is generally well supervised and jobs are of a routine nature
requiring little decision making.

Must be dependable, maintain confidentiality and display ethical behavior;

Job Detail:

Proctor exams to ensure that testing is done under secure conditions. The proctor must follow the instructor’s requirements for administering the exam. These may include a time limit and inclusion or exclusion of calculators, notes, etc.
Must be available during all scheduled exam periods, that may occur as early as 6:45am and securely store all exam materials prior to and after the exam; Will maintain proximity with and monitor the student during the entire test-taking period; for paper-based exams, the proctor returns testing materials directly to the instructor (instructions will be provided by instructor.) Should an exam need to be returned by mail, the student provides shipping.

Additional duties include assisting the Office of Student Affairs by greeting students and visitors conducting business in the office; General clerical duties and assisting with organizing and participating in College events, i.e., White Coat, General Orientation, Graduation.
Perform other tasks as may be assigned by supervisor or the Associate/Assistant Deans of Academic Affairs and Student Affairs

Work Hours:

Hours will vary, but may not exceed 19 hours, except while school is not in session. Departments wil work around student’s schedule.
